Specially design chain pliers for removing and retaining bicycle chains that use a master link with clamp screw to allow hands free operation. Pliers squeeze the master link together so that it opens allowing for the chain to be split and removed for maintenance, cleaning or replacement. Ideal for use on 6-12 speed bicycle chains. Master link doesn’t require a traditional chain tool, however over time, dirt and corrosion can make it very difficult to separate it by hand.
